Weather Forces Cancellation of Star Party 6/20

Weather Forces Cancellation  of Star Party

While Derrick Pitts is a firm believer that the show must go on, we also need the heavens to be visible for that to happen. Tomorrow night’s forecast is for heavy clouds and rain. Therefore, we’re forced to postpone the Star Party until a future date.

We’ll let you know when calendars are compared.

Meanwhile, Derrick will still be in town Saturday night, and if by chance there’s a bit of a clearing, he’ll be out on the beach at Randolph after dark happy to talk about the heavens.

The pipe’s been taken away, the beach is graded, so if there’s a break in the clouds, stroll on by.
