SIA Newsletter 8 14 2012 - Trolley Rides Rescheduled to September 1; Nightmare This Saturday

To All Strathmere and Whale Beach Homeowners and Visitors,
This Saturday Evening, August 18 at 6:30 pm, the SFEC will hold the annual "Nightmare in Strathmere" Boat Parade.

The parade is the Strathmere Fishing and Environmental Club's biggest fund raiser of the year, and always a barrel of fun!
It's not just for people on the bay! There will be awards for boats, houses on the bay and houses off the bay.
Register your boat or house at the old Corson's Inlet Marina (Bayview & Putnam) at 7:00 pm Friday night or in front of Twisties on Saturday afternoon.
Please plan to buy raffle tickets (ten for $10 - first prize $1000; 2nd: $300; 3rd: $200) and Nightmare tee shirts (with the design above).
Raffle Tickets are on sale this week at Frank's and Whale Creek; Tee Shirts on Bayview at Putnam and both will be on sale outside Twisties on Saturday afternoon.

But mostly, come out and watch the Boat Parade at 6:30 this Saturday!
Awards for houses and boats and the raffle drawing will be held at the Deauville Beach House at 9:00 pm that night.
