Exciting New Displays:
We have two new displays in our front cases. Harriett has been kind enough to share part of her extensive collection of antiques. She’s from a prominent family in Sea Isle City and has been saving her families’ things for many years. She wants to set up a museum on the mainland to showcase life at the shore through the years. P.S. She loves our library!
So, stop in for a sneak preview of her wonderful collection. It will be on display through January.
Hurricane Sandy: One Year Later:
Whether you call it a hurricane or super storm, Sandy affected all of us here at the shore. The local news station WMGM had a great story last month on remembering the storm. And now we have a copy of the program on DVD and it’s available for checkout. Stop in and borrow it!
Christmas at the Library:
The tree is up and decorated. Christmas books and Christmas DVDs are everywhere. Need a little holiday spirit? We’ve got plenty and would love to share!!
Our schedule for the holidays: closed Dec. 24 – 27 and Dec. 31 - Jan 3; open Saturday Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.
Have a great holiday!
