Lovely Flowers -
The petunias in front of the library add such great color. A big thanks goes to Karen Mitchell, who donated and planted 6 flats. Thanks, Karen!

Used Book Sale - 
Our FIFTH annual “Welcome Summer” Used Book Sale is still going strong. This week is the “Fill a Bag for $2” sale. Stop in for some FINAL bargains.

Five Year Anniversary: June 26, 2014 - 
We’ll be celebrating all summer.
 In June – for the week of June 24 – 28th we’ll have cupcakes for everyone and a contest, too. Stop in and sign our “I Love My Library because…” poster and enter for a chance to win a prize.
In July- an event for the kids: a BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for the library. Refreshments and entertainment on Thursday evening, July 31st.

Summer Programs & Events - Starting July 1st, our summer programs begin. Children have same schedule as last year. Teens will have their own photo contest and summer reading incentives. Adults even have their own special activity – MAHJONG on Tuesday evenings!

Our new events:
•KIDS PIRATE DAY – July 11th It will be PIRATES and PIRATE ACTIVITIES all day! Join us that day for some swashbuckling fun!
•BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: July 31st.
•CANNING PROGRAM: August 12 10:00am (at the fire hall). Limited participants (sign up at the library) 

Our tried-and-true events:
•WETLANDS TRAVELING TURTLES & TERRAPIN RELEASE: July 17 @ 6:00pm (parking lot) •FAMILY SCAVENGER HUNT: August 7 @ 7:00pm (sign up at the library)
