Ed Tettemer writes: "The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks this week - especially Thursday night and Friday morning - and will be wonderful in Strathmere, assuming clear skies." So get up around 3:45 and run outside to the beach! Last Summer Concert! Strathmere Stories-The SIA has embarked on a project to create a video archive of our history, as told by our longtime Strathmere and Whale Beach families and current residents and visitors. Everyone has a story, a memory to share. What's yours? Come to our upcoming open mic night, August 25 at Schiavo Library, and take part in the excitement. Or you can borrow a video camera and record your family's story as well. Email us for more details.
