Used Book Sale
Our Ninth annual “Welcome Summer” Used Book Sale is going strong. The sale continues until at least June 16th. Stop in; we have TONS of books left! Great Prices. June 9th will begin our “Fill a Bag for $2” sale.

Library 9th Anniversary
We are celebrating “9” great years here at the Schiavo Library! Stop in June 27th – we will be open 10 – 4pm and celebrating with cupcakes and balloons. We continue to add on to our Library legacy through our programs.

Summer Programs & Events Preview
Our summer programs will begin on July 3rd.
The Children’s schedule is the same as in the past years.
For Teens we have a BookMark Contest as well as a photo contest “Get Caught reading a Book”. Adults, we have Mahjong! They will continue to meet every Wednesday morning.
Our late Night evenings will begin every Thursday July 5th – Aug 30th. (Please sign up at Library ahead of time, stop in or Call Tel.# 609-486-6265, or email: info@strathmerelibrary.org

Our New Events:
BIRD WATCHING – July 12th Program starts at 6pm, try to arrive at least 10-15 min prior. Meeting at the North end of Strathmere, near Statepark. Will be meeting with Hosts Debbie Rivel the Conserve Wildlife NJ to take a tour on beach. Bring Binoculars, and cameras.

HORSESHOE CRAB – July 26th Program starts 6pm, come learn about these magnificent creatures and why they are important to our wildlife, especially in our area. RARE old Dinosaur! Meet at the Library inside.

WETLANDS TRAVELING TURTLES & TERRAPIN RELEASE: July 19th 6:00pm (Parking Lot)
FAMILY TEAM SCAVENGER HUNT: August 2nd 6:00pm (sign up at the Library)
FAMILY BINGO NIGHT: August 9th 6:00pm (sign up at the Library)

June Momental-Facts
National Photography Day ~ June 15th – Send us your nature photos we would love to add them to our photo album for the library.
Remember, Those Specials Dad and Granddads ~ June 17th (Happy Father’s Day)!
