Summer Programs:
Our summer schedule has begun with these children’s programs:
*Storybook Time (age 3-5) Tuesday 10:30am
*Lego Club (age 5-12) Tuesday 11:30
*Children’s movie morning – Wednesday 10:30-noon
*Book Bingo (for all ages) – Wednesday 1:30-2:30
*Kid’s Craft Night with Megan – Wednesday 6:00-7:15pm

New for Summer:
We are now open Thursday evenings until 8:00pm. For July we are featuring recent movies on DVD such as The Fighter, The Social Network, and The King’s Speech. They’ll be shown between 6:00 and 8:00pm Thursday nights.
The Philadelphia Inquirer is here for the summer!

We’re building a nice collection of recently-released DVDs (for children and adults). They can be checked out for $1 each for 3 days. If you have some DVDs you no longer need, we’ll take them anytime!


Crafts in the Summer:
My first bead jewelry lesson will be held Thursday – July 14th at 2:00pm. Ladies, if you’re free that afternoon, stop in and maybe you can make bead earrings to match your outfit!


Money Collected during the Fourth of July Parade:
One of our members, third grader Samantha Eill, decided to collect some money for our library. She convinced her mom to allow her to enter the parade with her bucket for donations. Samantha and her mother came in and (WHAT A SURPRISE ) handed us a check for $257.47. Samantha then gave me some suggestions for easy chapter books to add to our collection. Thank you Samantha and everyone who was so generous during the parade!


Second Anniversary Celebration
Our celebration is over – the cupcakes were a hit. Hard to believe the library is now over 2 years old! Our collection continues to grow – we have over 2,900 items. I bet we have the book you’re looking for this summer – come in and find out!
