So, what was everyone reading or watching on DVD this year? You probably won’t be surprised with the answers:
Most checked out DVD – Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
Most popular children’s books – Sea Monsters, Bark George, Good Night Beach and Fancy Nancy
Most popular fiction – One Thousand White Women and Catching Fire
Most popular non-fiction – Inside A Dog

 October – Stop in and Borrow a DVD for FREE!
A great DVD collection deserves a great promotion – so, October is the month to stop in and check out a FREE DVD of your choice! And you can borrow it for up to 2 weeks. What a deal!

Used Book Sale and Donations:       
Another successful book sale is over. We made $411.80 and had 243 people stop in the library to browse and buy.  Keep those donations coming! They not only stock our used book sales, but also provide over 90% of our collection, which now numbers over 3500 items.

October 24 – Snapshot Day:
What would happen in New Jersey if there were no libraries? Libraries across the state will record their activities for that day (October 24) to highlight the importance of our community libraries. Snapshot: One Day in the Life of NJ Libraries – make a point to visit your local library on October 24th and be counted!
