Strathmere Favorites:
Jessica Weaver recommends: The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society by Shaffer & Barrows, “I have to admit, I initially chose the book because of its title. The book is a series of letters describing the conditions on Guernsey during the German occupation of the Channel Islands in World War II. I laughed at the characters and admired their stoic endurance and heroism.“ (available in Large Print and audio in our library)
