Schiavo Library: October 2015 Newsletter

Schiavo Library: October 2015 Newsletter

Used Book Sale:
Our annual “End of Summer” book sale was another record breaker! We made a profit of $773.90 and had 470 people attend. We stretched it to almost 40 days, but it was worth it. Profit from the book sale funds our book budget so that we can carry the newest bestsellers and book club choices. Thanks again for all the donations.

October is Mystery Month at the Library:
For the month of October we are having a special drawing for a “mystery prize.” Check out a book or DVD and enter to win. Good luck!

Hot Items for the Summer Crowd:
So, what was the most popular book this summer?
It was a tie between The Stranger by Harlan Coben and The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.
Children’s books: Our Country’s President and Judy Moody Gets Famous.
DVD’s: Gone Girl and The Theory of Everything.
Children’s DVD: The LEGO Movie.

Mah Jongg: Mah Jongg continues here at the library, but on Fridays at 12:30pm. Everyone welcome. Call the library if you need more information: 609 486-6265.

Ghost Stories: If you like ghost stories, we’ve got them. Lots of great local stories. Check them out (if you dare)! Here are a few:
